Youth lead groups activities on short film production about "Environmental Conservation and Child Protection" was promoted by COERR Mae Sot to enable youth in Ban Mae La Temporary Shelter, Tak Province, to participate in environment and child protection concern.

   On December 20, 2022, the Awards Ceremony for short film winners was organized, in which 136 youth of 94 females and 42 males participated.

   COERR had seen the outstanding talents of children and youth in this temporary shelter in singing, music and performance and decided to support their capability. Therefore, COERR initiated the contest to promote talented youth in the short film making on the said topic. The purpose of this activity was to provide an opportunity for the youth with performing arts talents to practice their skill, increase their experience and make the outcome of their identity to be recognized.

   In addition, the project encouraged children and youth to spend their leisure in the activities they preferred. They also wished to be able to make this a living in the future when they resettle to the third country or return to their home country.

   Above all, it was expected that children and youth who had learned and become aware of environment conservation and child protection and transfer their learning into a short film should be able to build awareness of the audience at a certain level.
